Rita A. Ruel

Biddeford

Rita A. Ruel, 95, of Biddeford, passed away late Tuesday evening on October 1, 2024 at home.

She was born in Burlington, Vermont on August 7, 1929, a daughter of Joseph and Courana (Danis) Richer.

At the age of 14, Rita and her family moved to Biddeford. She graduated from St. Andre's High School.

On October 6, 1951, she married her husband Roland.

She was employed for many years at United Auto Parts / ITT Autowise and later retired from Fiber Materials Inc.

Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband Roland Ruel on May 29, 2021 and by two brothers Rene Richer and Leo Paul Richer.

She is survived by her daughter Denise Taaffe and her husband Mo, sister in law Claire Roy, several devoted friends, nieces and nephews.
