Robert O. Boucher, 84, of Biddeford, passed away early Sunday morning on March 21, 2021, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

He was born in Biddeford on March 2, 1937, son of Oscar and Jeannette (Bill) Boucher. He graduated from St. Louis High School, class of 1955. He also received his Bachelor's Degree from St. Anselm College.

Robert served his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Joan Lauzier on September 23, 1961 and together they built a life filled with love.

Robert had a great appreciation for his position as Director of Operations for TWA (Trans World Airlines). He retired from the airline in 1999, after 38 years of service.

Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, traveling and music. He had great memories of growing up in Maine, playing Big Band music with his brother Phil and moving to NY to start a new adventure building his career and raising his family. Upon retiring, he moved back to Maine to start his next great adventure. He loved his home, property and garden in Maine and took up bird carving over the years creating   many different species of birds, which are even more precious to us now. At the heart of Bob's life always were his family and his wife Joan who he called his guardian angel.  He will be sadly missed.

Robert was not only devoted a husband, father and grandfather, he was deeply involved with his community. He volunteered for Bon Appetit Meal Program, cooking many hot meals for those in need. He also spent many hours helping with Toys For Tots, and volunteered his time being Santa to bring gifts, smiles and love to many children in need.

He was predeceased by his brother Phil Boucher.

He is survived by his wife Joan, his daughter Lisa Boniberger and her husband Michael, daughter Kristina Boucher and husband Dean Wilson and granddaughter Kacie Escobar (daughter of Lisa and Michael) and her husband Juan, nieces and nephews.
