Robert "Bob" Harvey, 64, of East Waterboro, passed away surrounded by his family on

Monday, February 17, 2025 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

He was born in Biddeford on February 21, 1960, a son of James William and Pearl

(Hevey) Harvey.

Bob was a graduate of Thornton Academy, class of 1978. Bob was a constant presence

on the athletic field with his friends. He played every sport with heart and possessed

skills that made him excel. He played pee wee football, little league, hockey, golf and

softball to name a few of his favorites. One highlight was being a finalist in Pass, Punt

and Kick at the age of nine.

Bob married Lori Poirier on September 13, 1997. The couple had one daughter Kristy.

Bob made sure his girls had everything they needed in life to be protected.

Early on, from an employment side, Bob worked in maintenance for Funtown USA, St.

Andre's Healthcare and Evergreen Manor. Most recently, a job he truly enjoyed, was

working for Saco Defense. He looked forward to the daily interactions with his coworkers

and the times they spent together.

Bob liked his sports, loved his family and friends and being part of our community. He

forged many treasured lifelong friendships that continued to be an integral part of his life

right up until his untimely passing. He will be sadly missed by many.

He was predeceased by his dad J. William Harvey in 2001, his mom Pearl Harvey in

2009 and his brother David Harvey in 2006.
