Roger E. Bellerose

Roger E. Bellerose, 90, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 in Falmouth.

He was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on December 13, 1930, a son of Alfred and Alice (Charest) Bellerose. He graduated from Lynn Trade High School (now called Lynn Vocational Technical Institute), class of 1948.

Roger served in the United States Air Force, and then worked for 36 years with the U.S. Postal Service in Lynn, MA as a letter carrier.

Roger married his wife Caroline Bradley in May of 1969. Together they raised one son, Roger E. Bellerose Jr.

In 1997, shortly after Roger's retirement, he and Caroline moved from Massachusetts to Old Orchard Beach, Maine where they enjoyed several years together making friends in this coastal community.  Roger was very giving of his time often insisting that his neighbors put their lawnmowers away so that he could cut their lawn for them.  Roger was a member of the American Legion Post 57 in OOB, as well as the National Letter Carriers Association.

Roger was predeceased by his son Roger E. Bellerose Jr, three brothers, Robert Bellerose, Real Bellerose and George Bellerose, and by one sister Marie Tremaine.

He is survived by his wife Caroline, and one grandchild, Darcy Bellerose of Haverhill, MA.
