Ronald O. Vachon

Ronald O. Vachon, 88, of Biddeford, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.

He was born in Biddeford on October 15, 1933, a son of Norbert and Delia (LePenven) Vachon. He graduated from St. Louis High School, class of 1953.

Ronald proudly served in the Army National Guard Reserves.

He was employed by Biddeford and Saco Gas Company for 15 years. He later worked for Parker Hannaford in Portland for 28 years, retiring in 1995.

Ron had many hobbies. When time permitted he enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing a good game of cards. He also was a former member of the Saco Yacht Club and the Eagles.

Ron enjoyed people. These last three years he was a resident of St. Andre's Healthcare. He made many lasting relationships and was even resident of the month for November. He will be sadly missed by many.

He was predeceased by his wife Madeleine (Guinard) Vachon on August 18, 2016 and by his brother George Vachon in 1994.

He is survived by two children, his daughter Denise Kimball and son Mark Vachon and his wife Sharon, by two grandchildren Daniel Kimball and Krysti Vachon and several nieces and nephews.
