Obituary

Sandra J. Corriveau

Lyman

Sandra J. Corriveau, of Lyman, passed away surrounded by her loving family at home on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

She was born in Bangor on September 1, 1941, a daughter of Albert and Caroline (Kingston) Fish. Sandra graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School, class of 1960.

Sandra met her husband Ernest "Chico" Corriveau in Old Orchard Beach. The couple was married on November 15, 1964, at St. Margaret's Church. Their journey began as they raised five children together.

From the generation of hard work, Sandra was employed in various industries throughout her working career. Most recently, she spent 20 years at the Golden Rooster Restaurant in Saco where everyone was family.

Sandra enjoyed music and was the first on the dance floor to get everyone going. She liked to travel locally with her husband Chico. Two of their favorite pastimes were going to Oxford Casino and one special trip to Graceland to see where her idol Elvis lived.

Most of all, she loved her large family and the time they spent together. She cherished those memories and spoke highly of them right up until her passing. She will be sadly missed by many.

She was predeceased by her husband Ernest "Chico" Corriveau, her son Mark Corriveau and siblings Carlene White and Albert "Jack" Fish Jr.

She is survived by four children Karen Corriveau, Paul Corriveau, Paula Cooper and husband Richard and Kristina Thyng and husband James, 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Nina Armstrong and Donna Boucher, nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for both Sandra and Ernest "Chico" Corriveau will be held at 2PM Thursday, July 9, 2026 at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford. To view Sandra's memorial page or leave an online condolence please visit www.cotefuneralhome.com
