Sheila P. Averill, 76, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at St. Andre Healthcare in Biddeford.

She was born in Portland on February 17, 1947, a daughter of Roy and Phyllis (Waterhouse) Williams.

Sheila enjoyed boating and fishing out in the ocean, as well as on Sebago Lake. She liked doing crossword puzzles and playing games on her computer. She also loved spending time with her beloved cockatiel Shadow.

Sheila is survived her husband Dale Averill; three sons, Timothy Robbins and wife Lisa, Jeffery Averill and wife Brenda, and Mark Averill and wife Lisa; by 4 sisters, Judy, Barbara, Bonnie, and Mildred; and by two grandchildren.

Services are private. Burial will take place at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland.
