Obituary

Steven D. Ledoux

Steven D. Ledoux, 60, of Waterboro and formerly of Kennebunk, passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, with his family by his side on Monday, September 18, 2023.

He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on March 20, 1963, a son of Raymond and Yvette (Cote) Ledoux.

At the age of 11, Steven joined the Boy Scouts and by age 17, earned his Eagle Scout Badge. He graduated from Thornton Academy, class of 1981, where he lettered in football.

On July 25, 2015, Steve married the love of his life, his soul mate, Linda.

He worked in retail management for over 35 years, retiring on 2021.

Steve had many hobbies and interests. He followed all New England sports teams and had a great love of the outdoors. Going camping, watching live music and sunset picnics in the back of his truck, with Linda, were his all time favorites. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Many special memories were made that the family will hold on to and cherish forever. He will be deeply missed.

Steve would always say "life is too short". Live life to the fullest. That was his mantra.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Whitney) Ledoux, his four children, Chris Whitney and partner Megan Stanley, Rachel Des Jardins and partner Mathew White, Kerri Des Jardins and husband Sean Desmarais, Samantha Des Jardins and his six grandchildren, Jocie, Madeline, Lydia, Jack, Lily and Henry.
