Terence David Garrity, 61 years of age, passed away on Thursday, December 4th, in Waterboro, Maine. Born in Clinton, Mass on November 29, 1964, to Virginia and William Garrity.
Terence graduated from Thornton Academy in 1983. He served in the U.S. Army until 1998.
His favorite activities included camping in Embden, Maine with his family and friends. He loved watching his grandson play sports and granddaughters play soccer and cheering. He loved his old cars and trucks and his Harley Davidsons. He loved collecting stuff from the transfer station and loved regifting them as well. He spent almost all of his free time helping others. His favorite sayings were… "Hello hello," "Uh oh," "Oh boy," "That's not good," "That wasn't supposed to happen," and "One man's trash is another man's treasure."
Terence was predeceased by his parents, Virginia and William Garrity.
Terence is survived by his daughter Megan and husband Peter Marcello, his son David and wife Jakayla Garrity, his grandson Cameron Marcello, his granddaughters Kyleigh and Lillian Garrity, his siblings Kathrine, Michael, and Anthony, his brother-in-law Joseph Corriveau, his sisters-in-law, Kathy Garrity, and Nichole Garrity, his nieces Jenna, Trista and Jackie, and nephews Ben, Sam, James, and Patrick.
A Graveside Service with military honors will take place at 12PM on Monday, December 15th, at Southern Maine Veterans' Cemetery, Springvale.
