Winfield "Steve" Stephens

Winfield "Steve" Stephens, 83, of Biddeford, passed away at home on Friday, May 31, 2024.

He was born in Brattleboro, Vermont on May 9, 1941, a son of Harold and Hortense (Brooks) Stephens. Steve graduated from Hinsdale High School. After high school, he served his country in the United States Navy.

Steve was a self employed painter in York County for many years.

He was an avid walker and enjoyed crossword puzzles. He also was a coin enthusiast.

He was predeceased by two children Kimberly Stephens and Brian Stephens.

He is survived by his life partner Priscilla Boissonneault, his daughters, Addie Stephens and her children Carson and Daegan and Charlene Stephens and her husband John Sexton and their children Mia and Ezeriah. His step children Brenda Doyle and husband Lee, Stacey Bridges and husband Rick, Denise Gauvin, Daniel Boissonneault and wife Nancy.
He is also survived by siblings Walter Stephens and wife Nancy and Russell Stephens and wife Doris, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Services are private. He will be buried at sea on a United States Naval vessel.
